Gear up for an exhilarating weekend at the 7th Annual Sun Valley Tour de Force, a must for car enthusiasts! The event highlights are the Car Show at Festival Meadows and the thrilling “NO SPEED LIMIT” high-speed runs on Phantom Hill in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area!

SUN VALLEY WRITERS’ CONFERENCE

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference at the Sun Valley Pavilion. This premier literary event brings together an impressive line-up of poets, playwrights, historians, novelists, and musicians for thoughtful discussions and presentations.

Sun Valley Ice Shows are a spectacular blend of world-class talent and vibrant entertainment featuring medal-winning headline skaters and the talented Sun Valley on Ice cast. SUN VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Sun Valley Music Festival is a summer favorite for locals and visitors! This season features the Festival Orchestra, composed of top musicians from North America and world-renowned guest artists. All concerts are FREE, with seating available in the Pavilion and on the lawn. The perfect picnic spot for a summer evening in Sun Valley!

SUN VALLEY ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL

August 9 to August 11

Discover the creativity of 150+ professional artists and craftsmen from 27 states at the Sun Valley Arts & Crafts Festival in Atkinson Park, just off Main Street in Ketchum. This juried outdoor event showcases exceptional fine art, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography, woodwork, metalwork, and jewelry. The festival is free and open to all!

WAGON DAYS

Step back in time and celebrate Ketchum’s rich mining history at Wagon Days, one of the largest non-motorized parades in the West! Since 1958, the iconic Big Hitch Parade features an impressive collection of historic carriages, carts, and stagecoaches parading through downtown Ketchum. The perfect event to experience the charm and history of Ketchum at Wagon Days!

OKTOBERFEST!

September 20 to September 21

Embrace the festive spirit with a blend of German tradition and Idaho flair at the Annual Ketchum Oktoberfest in Festival Meadows, Ketchum. Here’s a line up of what to expect at this lively Oktoberfest celebration.

TRAILING OF THE SHEEP

The Trailing of the Sheep Festival, voted one of the Top Fall Festivals in the US, is a celebration of Idaho’s rich sheep ranching heritage. Experience living history with sheepdog trials, folklife dance and music, outstanding culinary events, and a fun-filled parade of 1,500 sheep down Main Street, Ketchum. This event always results in a sell-out weekend, so book your lodging early!

SUN VALLEY JAZZ AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

October 16 to October 20

Wrap up the fall season at the Sun Valley Jazz and Music Festival! The five-day festival honors America’s rich jazz heritage and jazz legends like Armstrong, Ellington, and Fitzgerald with forty bands and attendees from across the globe at Sun Valley Resort. Many of our rentals are within walking distance to Sun Valley Lodge for easy access to festival performances.
