Sexy French Ski Chalet – Exquisite. Peaceful. Fabulous.
What a find! My four girlfriends and I had an opportunity to spend a long weekend together in September and were lucky enough to book the Sexy French Ski Chalet. Tucked at the base of sage covered mountains, outside you will find a babbling brook, plentiful wildlife, fresh air and the clearest of night skies. There is comfortable patio to snuggle around an inviting fire or a dining table to eat a leisurely meal. Inside a beautifully appointed home makes you feel as though you were transported to another space and time. (The French music helped). Every detail so thoughtful and meticulously placed! We cozied up to the fire each morning wrapped in a soft blanket with a fresh cup of coffee (or espresso-you have choices). We were lucky enough to hear the elk bugling at dawn and dusk. We even got to witness their majestic presence right out the back patio! It was so exciting! There was plenty of space and essentials for all of us to cook, dine, relax and play-and a bonus: 3 bathrooms! Located a short drive from anything there is a myriad of hiking, the village with so many wonderful choices of restaurants, any type of outdoor activity you could want, fun shopping and the ability to be in touch with nature everywhere you went. Then at the end of the day you almost couldnt wait to climb into bed as it was fit for a queen-absolutely luxurious. Looking out the bedroom window each night and witnessing the stars in the sky and awakening to the silhouettes of the mountains, we were so lucky to have spent time in such a special spot.
